1. General

This website is operated by Muddy Feet. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Muddy Feet.

By accessing our website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, our Refund Policy, and our Privacy Policy. These policies together govern your purchase and use of our products and services.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Custom Orders

All custom mats are produced exactly as submitted by the customer at checkout.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all spelling, grammar, sizing, artwork approvals, and design details are correct prior to placing an order.

Once production has commenced, orders cannot be cancelled or modified.

Custom products that are produced in accordance with the details submitted at checkout are considered correctly supplied.

Refunds, replacements, and defect claims are further governed by our Refund Policy.

3. Commercial Use & Logo Permission

By submitting any logo, trademark, business name, or custom artwork to Muddy Feet for production, you confirm that:

You own the rights to the artwork; or
You have obtained full permission from the legal rights holder to reproduce it.

You accept full responsibility for any claims, disputes, or legal action arising from the unauthorised use of copyrighted or trademarked material.

Muddy Feet is not responsible for verifying intellectual property ownership of submitted artwork.

We reserve the right to refuse any artwork that appears to infringe intellectual property rights or breach Australian law.

4. Marketing & Photography Rights

Muddy Feet reserves the right to photograph and use completed custom mats for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to website content, social media, paid advertising, email marketing, and printed materials.

By placing an order, you grant Muddy Feet a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use images of the completed product for promotional purposes.

We will not claim ownership of your logo or trademark.

If you require your order to remain confidential and not be used for marketing purposes, you must notify us in writing prior to production.

Muddy Feet is not liable for third-party use of marketing content once published in the public domain.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

Full payment is required before production of custom orders begins.

Orders will not enter production until payment has been successfully processed.

6. Production & Dispatch

Production timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on order volume.

We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, supply chain disruptions, weather events, or circumstances outside of our control.

Once an order has been dispatched and handed to the courier, responsibility for transit transfers to the courier service.

Shipping terms, lost parcels, and defect claims are further governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Natural Product Disclaimer

Our mats are made from 100% natural coir.

As a natural fibre product, variations in colour, fibre density, texture, or small coconut tufts may occur. These characteristics are natural and are not considered defects.

By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

By placing an order with Muddy Feet, you agree to contact us directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider.

Where a chargeback is initiated without first contacting us, and the order has been produced and/or dispatched in accordance with the details submitted at checkout, we reserve the right to:

Provide order confirmations, customer-submitted custom text, artwork approvals, production records, and delivery confirmations as evidence in the dispute process.
Recover any costs, fees, or losses incurred as a result of a fraudulent or unjustified chargeback, to the extent permitted by law.

Custom products that have been produced exactly as approved are not considered “not as described” for the purposes of payment disputes.

Nothing in this clause excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muddy Feet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
